| Our group was especially fortunate to have a printing demonstration with an antique printing press by artist John Reburn, of Roanoke Valley Printworks. We were delighted to see beautifully crafted greeting cards, hot off the press! John also explained the difference between silkscreen and engraving printing processes. Our final art tour stop before heading back to the studio to finish our own work ,was at the Art Museum of Western Virginia, where we were guided John McElmurray, a member of the Young Curators, a program sponsored by The Art Museum of Western Virginia. |
